Big E is stepping out of the WWE ring and into the world of college football as the newly minted Chief Fiesta Officer for the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.
The former WWE Champion was promoted to the role after a successful stint as the Rate Bowl ambassador, bringing his trademark charisma and energy to the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal event.
The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl announced the exciting news on Twitter, saying, “BIG NEWS: After a successful debut as our @RateBowl ambassador, @WWEBigE has been promoted to Chief FIESTA Officer for the @Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Eve!”
Big E responded with enthusiasm, tweeting, “I have been such a massive fan of this brand and bowl game for as long as I can remember. Deeply honored to be the @Fiesta_Bowl Chief FIESTA Officer!”
In his new role, Big E will enhance the Fiesta Bowl experience for fans with a series of interactive events, including meet-and-greets, the Big E Flex Cam, fan challenges, and on-field moments. He’ll also be involved in media promotions, social media takeovers, and community outreach, ensuring the event reaches its full potential as the first-ever College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Fiesta Bowl.
Big E’s connection to college football runs deep. A former defensive lineman at the University of Iowa, he’s using his unique blend of athleticism and charisma to bring unforgettable energy to the Fiesta Bowl.
