WWE is gearing up for a massive event as the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event lands at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Saturday, March 1, 2025. This marks WWE’s first return to the iconic venue since WrestleMania 18 back in 2002, where The Rock and Hulk Hogan squared off in an unforgettable clash. The stadium also hosted another legendary match between Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 6.

The hype around this year’s event isn’t just nostalgic—it’s historic. With over 23,000 tickets sold for a seating setup of 29,670, the Elimination Chamber has already smashed Canada’s all-time gate record, previously held by WrestleMania 18.

Dave Meltzer chimed in on Wrestling Observer Radio, noting the gravity of this achievement. “It has already broken the all-time Canadian gate record, which was set by the Hogan and Rock match at the 2002 WrestleMania,” Meltzer shared. He speculated the final attendance could hit over 30,000.

“WWE probably wasn’t expecting a sellout when they booked it, but anything over 25,000 is considered a huge success,” Meltzer added. “And they’ll easily pass that.”
