WWE and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s partnership is going strong and it will continue as part of the upcoming New Year’s Show on January 1st, 2025. However, it appears NOAH seemingly spoiled a WWE star’s appearance on the show.
The January 1st, 2025 New Year’s Show will be taking place at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. One of the premier matches will see Takashi Sugiura and Naomichi Marufuji defend their GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against Jack Morris and a “Wrestler X,” whose identity is a mystery.
However, Pro Wrestling NOAH might have just accidentally spoiled the identity of who “Wrestler X” would be as they added WWE Superstar Omos’ character profile early on their website before promptly deleting it.
Shinsuke Nakamura is also set to be part of the New Year’s Show where he will be facing off against Ulka Sasaki in singles competition, so there will be WWE representation at the event.
Omos has not really been seen on WWE television much after the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal back in April this year and many believe he should be utilized more on WWE television. Therefore, an appearance at Pro Wrestling NOAH could be something that revitalizes Omos’ career, so it remains to be seen whether he will end up appearing as Jack Morris’ partner on January 1st, 2025 as fans would love to see that happen.
Do you think Omos is the right choice to team up with Jack Morris and challenge for the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championships? Let us know in the comments,
