MJF thrives on being a heel and has earned his reputation as one of the most hated figures in wrestling. Therefore, it’s no surprise he took a shot at Mick Foley after receiving a Christmas message from the hardcore legend.
The Salt of the Earth took to Instagram and responded to a video featuring Mick Foley dressed up as Santa Claus. Mick Foley sent MJF a Christmas message asking if he had been a good boy, joking that good boys are boring and referencing the last successful “white meat babyface,” Cody Rhodes. The WWE Hall of Famer went on to say that MJF is so skilled at being bad that it places him at the top of his “nice list,” wishing him a Merry Christmas.
“Have you been a good boy this year? I certainly hope not. Oh, good boys are so boring. A white meat babyface, when’s the last time that drew, oh I guess Cody Rhodes. Anyway, MJF, you’re so good at being bad it puts you at the top of my nice list. Have a nice day, Christmas Day that is.”
The Salt of the Earth was clearly not impressed with Foley as he questioned who even gave Foley his number, calling him a fat bastard, saying, “Who gave this fat bastard my number?!?!?”
In fact, Mic Foley also revealed scrapped plans for an extended retirement program with MJF in the past. Nevertheless, the Salt of the Earth thrives on being a hateful person and his targeting Mick Foley is certainly not unexpected, so we’ll have to wait and see whether the two will have a face-to-face confrontation somewhere down the line.
