AEW is ready to bring fans a festive edition of Dynamite on Christmas Night, but Tony Khan’s interaction with a fan on social media is stealing the spotlight.

The AEW president took to Twitter on Christmas Eve to hype the pre-taped episode, which will air on December 25 at 8 p.m. ET on TBS. Khan shared his enthusiasm with a playful message, referencing the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life:

“Tonight’s George Bailey’s big night! Merry Christmas Eve! Tomorrow is Christmas, and with Christmas coming on a Wednesday this year, I’m looking forward to seeing you soon for a huge Christmas Night #AEWDynamite on TBS, 8pm ET/7pm CT, tomorrow evening!”

The tweet was paired with a lineup graphic featuring some of AEW’s biggest stars, promising a stacked show featuring matches like Will Ospreay vs. Brody King and Darby Allin vs. Ricochet.

However, one fan was less than thrilled, commenting, “We not watching.”

Rather than ignoring the negativity, Khan delivered a surprisingly classy response, writing, “That’s ok too! Merry Christmas!”

This special Christmas episode of Dynamite comes at the tail end of AEW’s 2024 calendar, featuring pivotal matches ahead of the World’s End pay-per-view. The event will see rivalries escalate and tournament finals that promise to shape AEW’s direction heading into 2025.

What do you think of Tony Khan’s response? Will you be tuning in to AEW Dynamite this Christmas? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
