Ric Flair is thrilled about his daughter Charlotte Flair’s impending return to WWE but admits she’s keeping him in the dark about her comeback plans.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, The Nature Boy opened up about Charlotte’s silence, sharing that while she shares everything with her mom, she won’t let him in on the big secret.

“I am so excited for my daughter to come back,” Ric said. “After talking to her mom on a regular basis—Ashley won’t tell me. She doesn’t have a big mouth. She tells her mom everything, but I can’t get her to tell me. I really think it’s time for her to come back.”

Ric didn’t shy away from singing Charlotte’s praises, predicting that her return will be monumental. “I think it will be a real game-changer when she beats the title record. I think it’s in the cards,” he said confidently. “She’s the best women wrestler alive.”

Ric even went a step further, forecasting that Charlotte’s first match back will draw the highest ratings for a women’s singles match in WWE history.

Charlotte has been out of action since suffering a devastating ACL, MCL, and meniscus tear during a SmackDown match against Asuka in December 2023. Speculation about her return has been rampant, with WrestleVotes recently suggesting her comeback could happen as early as Saturday Night’s Main Event. While that didn’t pan out, it’s clear WWE is gearing up for a major moment.

Charlotte herself has remained tight-lipped about her return, but she recently took to Twitter to give a nod to NXT star Lainey Reid, who has been helping her prepare for her return. “Thank you @lainey_wwe for the last few weeks KEEP AN EYE on this ONE,” Charlotte wrote, hinting at a bright future for Reid and fueling excitement for her own return.

Ric may not have the inside scoop, but his excitement and high expectations for Charlotte’s return are undeniable. Fans can only speculate how and when The Queen will reclaim her throne in WWE.
