After an action-packed night at the Hammerstein Ballroom for AEW’s Dynamite and Collision tapings, Will Ospreay took to Twitter with an emotional message for fans, crew, and his AEW family as he headed back to England for the holidays.
“And just like that I’m heading home to my family in England,” Ospreay began, expressing his gratitude to everyone who works behind the scenes to make AEW tick. “I wanna take this opportunity to thank everyone in AEW’s crew, production, hair stylists, trainers, doctors, coaches & everyone that works hard behind the curtain to make everyone tick over.”
Ospreay, a major star in the Continental Classic tournament, also showered praise on AEW’s diverse roster. “To all the wrestlers Men, Women or however you identify. I cannot express what an honour it is to be able to be on the same team as you all. We truly have the most talented roster in all of the wrestling world,” he wrote.
He didn’t hold back on his appreciation for AEW’s fans either, saying, “To the fans in Washington DC & New York. You guys give me so much life and the fact you have opened your door to me and let me call AEW my home sets my heart on forever.”
Ospreay saved a heartfelt thank-you for AEW President Tony Khan, whose leadership he credits with changing lives. “Your kindness is something that we all love about you. You’ve changed so many people’s lives, and without you, we all wouldn’t be able to feed our families and provide comfort to them,” he shared.
Will Ospreay’s heartfelt message shows just how much AEW and its fans mean to him, leaving everyone wondering what’s next for the international sensation. As he heads home to England for the holidays, one thing is clear—his passion for wrestling and gratitude for his AEW family are unmatched.
