TNA Wrestling is making major moves in Canada, securing a multi-year distribution deal with Sportsnet. Beginning Thursday, January 2, Impact Wrestling will air exclusively on Sportsnet 360 from 8–10 p.m. ET, marking a significant step for the promotion’s reach north of the border.
According to PostWrestling, The agreement includes more than just TNA’s flagship show. Fans can expect additional programming like TNA Xplosion, TNA in 60, and exclusive content from TNA’s extensive library, which dates back to the company’s launch in 2002.
Sportsnet has already begun promoting the new programming lineup, with official graphics appearing over the weekend. A formal announcement is expected to follow shortly, solidifying TNA’s place as the network’s new wrestling powerhouse.
This deal comes as Sportsnet’s decade-long partnership with WWE concludes. WWE programming, including Raw, NXT, Friday Night SmackDown, and premium live events, will move to Netflix in Canada starting January 6, with Raw kicking off the transition.
Previously, Impact Wrestling aired on Fight Network and Game TV, which are both owned by TNA’s parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Despite this shift in Canada, TNA will remain on its U.S. home, AXS TV.
With WWE leaving Sportsnet, this new partnership positions TNA Wrestling to fill a major void for Canadian wrestling fans.
