Earlier this month, STARDOM announced a tournament to choose their representative for the International Women’s Cup match at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025. Fans were curious who would win the tournament, and now the winner has finally been revealed.
At STARDOM’s event on December 22, a four-way match determined the promotion’s representative for the International Women’s Cup at Wrestle Dynasty. The competitors were Syuri, Suzu Suzuki, Tomoka Inaba, and Momo Watanabe. When all was said and done, it was the highly talented Momo Watanabe who picked up the win.
Emerging victorious, Momo Watanabe now joins an elite lineup for the International Women’s Cup at Wrestle Dynasty, where she’ll face off against AEW’s Willow Nightingale, ROH’s Athena, and CMLL’s Persephone. The stakes are high as winning the International Women’s Cup grants the winner a title shot for any championship from the promotions involved with Wrestle Dynasty.
As excitement builds for Wrestle Dynasty, fans are already excited about the upcoming International Women’s Cup match. With veteran competitors like Nightingale, Athena, and Persephone in the mix, Watanabe will have her work cut out for her.
However, she’s no stranger to high-pressure situations and is ready for the challenge. Therefore, we will have to wait and see who will ultimately come out on top in the end and etch their name in history once and for all.
