A wrestling legend is back in the booth! AEW’s Dynamite On 34th Street taping at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City saw the return of none other than “The Human Suplex Machine,” Taz.

Taz made his long-awaited return to the commentary desk during the taping for the Christmas Day episode of AEW Dynamite. The show kicked off a double taping that also included matches for the December 27 episode of AEW Rampage.

The commentator had been absent from AEW programming for several weeks while recovering from total knee replacement surgery. Known for his unique style and legendary wrestling career, Taz’s return adds a familiar voice back to AEW’s broadcasts, just in time for the holidays.

Taz’s return to AEW is just what fans needed to close out the year with some extra energy and nostalgia. Whether it’s calling the action or bringing his signature wit to the table, he’s back where he belongs.
