AEW fans are making their feelings about Ricochet crystal clear, and they’re not holding back—literally. During the December 25 AEW Dynamite tapings, Ricochet once again found himself on the receiving end of flying rolls of toilet paper as he made his way to the ring for a match against Darby Allin.

This isn’t the first time the Hammerstein Ballroom crowd gave Ricochet a rough reception. Just days earlier, at the December 21 episode of AEW Collision, fans pelted him with TP before his match against Will Ospreay in the Continental Classic tournament. While Ricochet managed to win that match, his treatment by fans was anything but welcoming.

At the Dynamite tapings, the reaction escalated, with an even heavier bombardment of toilet paper rolls. Ricochet, clearly unimpressed, grabbed one of the rolls and hurled it back into the crowd—a move that only seemed to fuel the fans’ rowdy energy.

The audience’s hostility toward Ricochet seems to be turning him into a natural heel for AEW. Whether this crowd reaction will lead to bigger booking opportunities for The One and Only remains to be seen, but he’s certainly not lacking in attention.
