Red Velvet Calls Out Mercedes Mone After ROH Final Battle

Red Velvet is shooting her shot for a dream match, and she’s not holding back. Fresh off her victory at ROH Final Battle, where she retained her Women’s Television Championship against Leyla Hirsch—with the help of a wrench—Velvet is setting her sights on a new target: AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone.

At the Final Battle post-show press conference, Velvet was asked about her next potential challenger. Her answer? She wants the best of the best. “Are we staying in Ring of Honor or can I say anybody? Anybody,” Velvet told reporters. “TK, give me Mone. Everybody wants it. Let’s go. Let’s make it happen. Let’s do it. Absolutely.”

Red Velvet didn’t stop there, doubling down on her challenge. “Line them up. You know I always cook, Tony. He knows. Let’s keep cooking. Let’s bring them. I never turn down a challenge. I’m ready for anybody and everyone, so bring them. I’m ready. I’m hungry,” she added.

Mone has been on a roll as TBS Champion, recently defending her title on AEW Dynamite. A showdown between these two fierce competitors would undoubtedly be a match fans won’t forget anytime soon.
