AEW is preparing for Worlds End on December 28 at Orlando, Florida’s Addition Financial Arena. Adam Cole will finally get his hands on MJF, and they had a lot to say to each other during the December 21 episode of AEW Collision.
During the second segment of the show, MJF and Adam Cole had their face-to-face. MJF got the microphone first, and he made a point about how breakable Adam Cole is. That fragility doesn’t just limit Cole’s actions in the ring, because he needs to find a new dentist too.
The Salt of the Earth made a point to say that any bump, a gust of wind, or even a cavity could take Adam Cole down. Then he said that the rumor is that his dentist isn’t seeing him anymore. Of course, this was in reference to Adam Cole and Britt Baker’s breakup.
MJF went on to say that Adam Cole is looking more like a “crack bay-bay” in recent memory, which took a shot at how Cole has lost some weight. At that point, Cole came back at MJF, but he refrained from taking any personal shots. In the process, he called MJF out for getting two surgeries on his head of hair and also pulling political strings to get his girl, Alicia Atout, hired by AEW.
This was a very personal shot for MJF to take on Adam Cole, but it’s also par for the course. MJF has been known to take pot shots whenever he can.
This situation is very interesting, because Britt Baker was actually suspended after a backstage confrontation with MJF over Alicia Atout. MJF also put his fist through a wall over that interaction, just before his hour-long match against Will Ospreay on the July 17th episode of Dynamite. Obviously, there is a lot to unpack in this feud, and only time will tell if things are settled at Worlds End.
