Mercedes Mone Accepts Worlds End TBS Title Match Challenge During 12/21 AEW Collision

AEW Worlds End will go down on December 28 in Orlando, Florida at the Addition Financial Arena. The night will be loaded with matches as AEW closes out 2024, and now we have a TBS Title match on the card.

Kris Statlander had a chance to cut a short promo backstage during the December 21 episode of AEW Collision, one that she directed at Mercedes Mone. Statlander said that since Mercedes doesn’t have an opponent at Worlds End, then she is challenging her for a match.

After Kris Statlander beat Penelope Ford in singles competition, Mercedes Mone made her way out. She made it clear that she will beat Statlander again, and she will prove herself as the greatest TBS Champion of all time at World End.

This was a very short promo for Mercedes Mone, but she made her point very clear. Now their title match has been set in stone for next Saturday’s pay-per-view.

Statlander wants another run with the AEW TBS Title, as she held the title for 174 days in 2023. As of tonight, Mercedes Mone has 210 days as TBS Champion under her belt and counting.
