Konnan is known to be a divisive figure in the world of professional wrestling and there are some wrestlers who can’t stand him, and that includes Curtis Axel. Axel recently had some scathing words to say to Konnan and now Konnan has finally responded to Axel’s remarks.

Earlier this month, Curtis Axel addressed his relationship with Konnan and called him “washed-up” and added that his father Mr. Perfect hated putting Konnan over. Axel stated he still stood by those comments. He mentioned how Konnan once called him boring and more. Axel made it clear that he still has issues with Konnan and has no respect for the WCW legend.

“This dude said I was not entertaining. I don’t even know what he said. He just tweeted I was not entertaining, I was boring, whatever, not over, whatever. I tweeted him back saying, ‘Did you blow yourself up writing that tweet? Because I know you blew yourself up wrestling my dad. You’ve never been s***.’ So me and him got into it for a second, but that was years ago. But he’s a piece of s***, I don’t care about him.

He’s a fat slob, man. He never worked good matches. You ever see him in a heavyweight match? He talked s*** to me, so I sent him something with my Intercontinental Title in my hand like this, like ‘What’s up?!’”

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan responded to Curtis Axel calling him a “piece of s***” and a “fat slob.” He explained that this started years ago when someone asked him about Axel, and he said Axel lacked charisma and suggested he should get a “charisma transplant.”

Konnan couldn’t believe Axel was still upset about the comment after so many years and suggested that Axel might need to consult a mental health professional if he continued to dwell on it. In the end, Konnan stated that he doesn’t care about Axel’s opinion and isn’t bothered by what he says.

“No, somebody asked me what I think about Curtis Axel, and I said, ‘He lacks charisma and should get a charisma transplant.’ That’s what set him off. Go to a mental health professional, bro, if he’s still bringing this up 10 years later. I could give a f*** what he says.”

This feud has been going on for years, and it doesn’t seem like either side is ready to make peace just yet. For now, we’ll have to wait and see if Curtis Axel responds to Konnan’s comments as fans simply want their beef to end once and for all.
