Julia Hart’s Return Match Announced for AEW Fight for the Fallen

AEW is kicking off 2025 with its Fight for the Fallen special, and the first match announcement is already turning heads. Scheduled for January 1, the event marks AEW’s first-ever simulcast on TBS and HBO Max and will take place in Asheville, North Carolina.

The confirmed bout will see Julia Hart go one-on-one with Jamie Hayter in what promises to be an intense showdown. This marks the first singles match between the two, as Hart made her intentions clear upon returning to AEW television by targeting Hayter.

Hart’s return to the ring comes after a months-long hiatus following her TBS Championship loss to Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty in April. After weeks of ominous vignettes, Hart officially reappeared on the December 14 episode of AEW Collision, ambushing Hayter and setting the stage for their clash at Fight for the Fallen.

The match was officially announced during the December 21 episode of AEW Collision, adding more intrigue to a card already packed with drama. Currently, the lineup for AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen includes:

• FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) promising they won’t come alone when they face The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Claudio Castagnoli).
