The pro wrestling world has seen a lot of controversy in recent memory, and Ric Flair’s name has been involved with a few hot topics over the years. Now, he has found himself in the middle of another scandalous situation.
Ric Flair received a lot of attention today when he revealed that he was ripped of $2 million on a crypto post. It was later revealed that a 20-year business associate was the one who betrayed him.
Ric Flair posted on X to address a misunderstanding, clarifying that the issue has nothing to do with Wendy or anyone in his family. He stated that it involves someone who owes him money from a business deal made 20 years ago, totaling $2 million. Flair mentioned that he thinks about the situation daily and emphasized that it’s not related to a woman, contrary to assumptions. He refrained from naming the person, citing concerns about another potential lawsuit, noting he already lost one due to being unable to fight the insurance company.
In response to that post, Cary Silkin, former owner of ROH, posted to make it clear that Ric Flair isn’t all innocent. He accused The Nature Boy of ripping him off to the tune of $41,000. He wrote, “Please pay me back the 41K you owe me for failing to appear at 4 signing. sincerely Cary Silkin.”
This is a pretty heavy allegation for Cary Silkin to lay down about Ric Flair. As of this writing, The Nature Boy has not responded to that post.
Ric Flair has a history of money issues, but he seems to be doing well now with his many endorsements. His name also fetches a lot of money and attention for any appearance. We’re not sure of the details involving this alleged situation that Cary Silkin is referencing, but we will keep our eyes peeled for more updates.
