TNA has been undergoing a significant transformation over the past year, starting with its Hard to Kill pay-per-view. The promotion is experiencing a surge in business, but there’s a catch—fans aren’t necessarily willing to pay high ticket prices. Interestingly, AJ Francis has defended TNA’s decision to charge over $700 for tickets to next year’s Slammiversary event, despite some fan criticism about the cost.
A fan recently took to Twitter and commented on ticket prices for TNA’s Slammiversary event on July 20th, 2025 at the UBS Arena in New York, with the most expensive floor tickets being priced at $735.10. The fan questioned who would even pay $700 for a floor seat to a TNA event and believes such people need wellness checks, saying, “Who the f*** is paying 700 dollars for a floor seat to TNA. Wellness checks needed if you are.”
This led to a response from AJ Francis, who claimed that the fan in question was simply broke, saying, “If you’re broke just say that.” The fan then told AJ Francis to get off his knees, adding that TNA paying Francis with a hotdog and a handshake is surely not worth his credibility, saying, “Get off your knees man. That hotdog and a handshake isn’t worth your credibility surely?“
AJ Francis clearly didn’t like what the fan had to say and claimed that if the fan said those things to him in person, they would be begging him to stop. He pointed out that the internet is the only place where people can act like they matter, but in real life, they can’t act so tough.
“In real life you would be on your knees begging me to stop beating you within an inch of your life if you said it in person… That’s why you and goofies like you say it on the internet because it’s the only place you and your pathetic miserable existence can pretend to matter.“
This comes after AJ Francis’ TNA contract is close to expiring this year. For the record, this year’s Slammiversary sold exceptionally well and TNA was happy with its performance, but it isn’t known whether they will be able to sell out next year’s event considering the fact that tickets are priced at over $700.
