AEW puts in a lot of effort to make every episode of Dynamite exciting, and the December 18th edition is no exception as it’s the “Holiday Bash” edition of the show. This week’s episode will showcase more action in the Continental Classic tournament, along with various ongoing storylines for fans to enjoy.
Mercedes Mone defends her TBS Championship against Anna Jay in what could be a significant underdog story. While Mone has been a dominant force, Jay has been improving and showing more confidence, especially after her recent challenges. Fans are looking forward to seeing whether Jay has what it takes to pull off a huge upset, as she has shown she belongs in the main event scene.
Shelton Benjamin has been on a roll in the Continental Classic tournament as he has shown that age is nothing but a number. He will be facing off against Beast Mortos on Dynamite this week and fans can expect a solid match between the two.
The Continental Classic match between Will Ospreay and Darby Allin has the potential to be the best of the tournament as both competitors have proven themselves to pull off huge risks in order to pick up the win. This match could go either way, but one of them will walk out the winner.
Jon Moxley, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta are set to square off against Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and “Hangman” Adam Page in a six-man tag team match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It is likely this match will build towards AEW Worlds End, where Moxley will defend his AEW World Championship against Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and “Hangman” Adam Page, so fans are excited to see what will happen in the bout.
Former AEW World Champion MJF is officially scheduled to speak on the December 18th episode of AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash. Following the announcement that he’ll face Adam Cole at AEW Worlds End, MJF will likely have a lot to say about his upcoming opponent and what’s next for him, should he defeat Adam Cole.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will be speaking for the first time after getting brutally attacked by the Death Riders on Collision. It is expected they will be continuing their feud with Jon Moxley’s faction, so fans are excited to hear what they will have to say on Dynamite.
