Wes Lee may have walked into WWE Main Event ready for battle, but it sounds like he didn’t walk out unscathed.

According to PWInsider, the NXT standout was reportedly “banged up” following his match against Dion Lennox at last night’s WWE Main Event tapings in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sources say Lee appeared to be dealing with a foot or ankle injury and will be undergoing further evaluation to determine the severity. While details remain scarce, WWE fans are already crossing their fingers for a quick recovery.

The Main Event tapings featured a full slate of action alongside two episodes of WWE RAW—covering both the December 16 and December 23 shows. Along with Lee’s bout, the card included Dante Chen taking on Josh Briggs and Dragon Lee facing off against Pete Dunne, giving the Boston crowd a packed night of matches.
