Toni Storm is officially “All Elite” again, but fans are getting more than they bargained for with her latest character transformation.

After making a return on AEW Dynamite and competing at the Winter Is Coming edition of AEW Collision, Storm is now at the center of an amnesia storyline that’s set to evolve in unexpected ways.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Storm’s current gimmick involves her believing she’s brand new to AEW. “She’s doing an amnesia angle,” Meltzer explained. “The idea is she came and introduced herself as Thunder Rosa, introduced herself to Tony Schiavone. She thinks she’s never been in AEW before, but there are flashbacks in the matches where you can see the old thing. That’s the storyline. She’s going to revert back to the ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm, but right now, she’s got amnesia and has no recollection of anything that happened and thinks she just signed with AEW for the first time. We’ll see how it goes.”

Storm’s backstage interactions have already sparked curiosity. Greeting Thunder Rosa and Tony Schiavone as if they were strangers was just the beginning. In her post-match promo following her victory over Shazza McKenzie, Storm expressed disbelief at being part of a locker room that includes stars like Mercedes Moné and Willow Nightingale. Fans are left wondering how this storyline will unfold and when the “Timeless” persona will resurface.

AEW’s decision to craft a narrative around Storm’s amnesia adds a unique twist to her character and creates endless possibilities for her in-ring future. The storyline appears to set the stage for a gradual return to her celebrated “Timeless” persona, allowing for a dramatic evolution.

As the wrestling world debates this creative gamble, all eyes are on how AEW handles this complex storyline. Will the amnesia gimmick be a creative triumph or a missed opportunity? One thing is for sure—Toni Storm is keeping fans on their toes.
