The excitement for WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event is reaching new heights, and now it seems there’s even more to look forward to.

According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE has brought in extras for tonight’s event at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, as well as for something major going down at WWE HQ this coming Wednesday.

While details remain under wraps, the use of extras often signals that WWE is cooking up something special—whether it’s for a segment, an unexpected return, or even pre-taped promos for future storylines.

Tonight’s show features an already stacked card, including Cody Rhodes defending his WWE Undisputed Championship against Kevin Owens, and GUNTHER battling Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a triple-threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Add to that the finals of the WWE United States Women’s Championship tournament and Liv Morgan putting her Women’s World Championship on the line against IYO SKY, and you’ve got a night packed with action.

The involvement of WWE HQ raises even more questions. Triple H had previously teased a first-ever event happening there on December 18, with big names like Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Logan Paul, Cody Rhodes, and Liv Morgan confirmed to appear. Could the extras be part of a storyline or cinematic element WWE is planning to roll out next week? Only time will tell.

What do you think WWE is planning with the extras? Could it be a major storyline twist, a cinematic match, or something entirely unexpected? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you feel about the direction WWE is taking with this retro revival!
