Saturday Night’s Main Event returned to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale. That included some very big surprises along the way.
Not only did Saturday Night’s Main event open up with Joe Tessitore introducing Jesse “The Body” Ventura back into WWE, but then fans found out that wasn’t the only change for the commentary team that night. Pat McAfee’s music went off, and he made his way to the ring.
Pat McAfee joined Michael Cole at ringside, and he was thrilled to be in the house for Saturday Night’s Main Event. He was introduced as a special guest commentator, but his inclusion also made the night on NBC so much more special.
WWE fans will remember Pat McAfee and Michael Cole’s chemistry, but putting them on Saturday Night’s Main event will help get them exposure for a lot more fans. Hopefully, this is a good sign for the future of the Saturday night special.
Pat McAfee has been very busy. He has College Game Day to worry about, and his long-running podcast. He will also be back on WWE RAW when they make their January 6 debut on the streaming giant.
