Moose is keeping his crown as the king of controversy, doubling down on his fiery response to fans outraged by his support of Tessa Blanchard’s return to TNA Wrestling. After taking heat for a fat-shaming tweet, the TNA X-Division Champion responded to the backlash in true Moose fashion—by dismissing it entirely.
Taking to Twitter once more, Moose wrote, “You would think that by now fans on Twitter/X would understand that their opinions about me and anyone on the @ThisIsTNA roster doesn’t matter. CARRY-ON. FACE OF THE FRANCHISE.”
The tweet comes after Moose stirred up drama when he welcomed Blanchard back with a simple “Welcome back Home” tweet following her ambush on Jordynne Grace at TNA’s Final Resolution pay-per-view. The message didn’t sit well with fans who haven’t forgotten Blanchard’s controversial past, including allegations of bullying and racism.
One fan called out Moose as a “woman beater,” prompting the champion to respond with the now-infamous “Go eat a burger Fatty” remark, igniting a social media firestorm.
Fans wasted no time dragging Moose and calling for accountability, tagging TNA’s official Twitter account and questioning his role in the company. The backlash, however, appears to have only emboldened Moose, who clearly isn’t losing any sleep over the critics.
Meanwhile, the drama surrounding Blanchard’s return continues to overshadow TNA’s current roster, with both stars becoming polarizing figures. Moose’s dismissive attitude towards fan opinions may keep him in the spotlight, but it’s also fueling more tension in an already divided fanbase.
