WWE fans are in for a treat as Tito Santana, one of wrestling’s most beloved legends, has officially confirmed his appearance at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14. The announcement came straight from Santana himself, who took to social media to share the exciting news.
“Making my return to WWE Saturday night…See ya there ARRIBA,” Santana wrote, alongside a promotional photo tagging WWE.
The two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and two-time WWE Tag Team Champion is a Hall of Famer who was inducted in 2004. Santana’s presence adds yet another layer of nostalgia to a star-studded event already featuring Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Koko B. Ware, Greg Valentine, and Jimmy Hart.
Even without Ted DiBiase, who was forced to withdraw due to health issues, WWE has loaded the card with legendary appearances and marquee matches. Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, GUNTER will square off against Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and Liv Morgan will battle IYO SKY for the inaugural WWE United States Women’s Championship. The night also promises a showdown between Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre, making it a perfect blend of nostalgia and current rivalries.
With Santana back in the fold for one night only, fans are thrilled to see one of WWE’s classic faces step back into the spotlight. His return is sure to evoke memories of his iconic moments in WWE history, from electrifying tag matches to his unforgettable Intercontinental Championship reigns.
