AEW and NJPW have built a lot of momentum with their partnership, and STARDOM has also been an important part of it as well, bringing a strong mix of competitors that fans around the world enjoy watching. In fact, STARDOM has now announced a tournament to decide their competitor for the International Women’s Cup match at Wrestle Dynasty.
At AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty next year, four women from different promotions will compete in an International Women’s Cup match, with representation from AEW, ROH, STARDOM, and CMLL.
STARDOM has now announced it will be holding a tournament to determine who will represent the company for the International Women’s Cup. It was revealed that on December 20 and 21, four four-way matches will take place.
The matchups are as follows: Hanan will face Yuna Mizumori, Momo Watanabe, and Saki Kashima; Syuri will compete against Saya Iida, Fukigen Death, and Ranna Yagami; Koguma will go up against Waka Tsukiyama, Tomoka Inaba, and Rina; and finally, Konami will face Suzu Suzuki, Hina, and Aya Sakura.
The winners of these matches will advance to a final four-way match on December 22. The winner of that bout will secure a spot in the International Women’s Cup match at Wrestle Dynasty.
We will have to wait and see which STARDOM star will end up etching their name in history and securing their position in the International Women’s Cup match, as there are several talented women who have a good shot at representing the company.
