Mariah May didn’t hold back in her recent interview on Close-Up with Renee Paquette, taking a direct shot at AEW’s Mercedes Mone. During the discussion, the outspoken AEW star criticized Mercedes for isolating herself from the rest of the locker room.

“I don’t care. Honestly, half the time I don’t know she stepped in here because, I don’t know if you know this, but she has her own locker room,” Mariah said when asked about Mercedes’ presence in AEW. “She says she’s here to help, and she cares so much. So come into our locker room. Come into our tiny, little locker room and help us. Teach us. Share your knowledge from all these years of experience you’ve apparently had, but no, she’s sitting in her locker room. If you care, come and step into the ring with me.”

Mariah didn’t stop there, claiming she feels slighted by Mercedes getting more TV time and making it clear she believes she’s the better performer. “Yeah, because I think I’m better,” she stated bluntly.

Mariah May’s bold comments about Mercedes Mone have raised plenty of eyebrows, with fans now wondering if Mercedes will step up to the challenge. Mariah made her stance clear—she’s ready for a fight and isn’t afraid to call out anyone she feels isn’t pulling their weight.
