Jade Cargill Replaced As WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion During 12/13 WWE SmackDown

The Friday the 13th episode of WWE SmackDown went down without Jade Cargill, but she certainly came up in the conversation. During that show, she was replaced as a member of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were going strong as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Then Cargill was taken out in a backstage attack. That leaves Belair in a bad situation.

During the December 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis approached Bianca Belair and told her that Jade Cargill’s absence will cause them to relinquish the titles. Belair didn’t want to do that, but then Naomi jumped in to help out.

Nick Aldis explained that Bianca Belair and Naomi need to be fighting champions. That will include them defending those titles, as early as next week. Aldis also stated that they are no closer to figuring out who attacked Cargill.

We already know what is booked for the December 20 episode of SmackDown, because they are going to tape two episodes this week. Now, we will have to see what the future holds for everyone involved.

It was reported that Jade Cargill was dealing with injuries that could keep her out of the ring for several months. Cargill is currently receiving medical treatment for her injuries.
