WWE is set to crown as new champion in the SmackDown Women’s Division, as they are getting their own United States Title. During the December 13 episode of SmackDown in the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, they got even closer to the end of the road.
As we reported, Michin was able to pull off a big win as she beat Tiffany Stratton to advance to the final match in the WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament. Then Bayley took on Chelsea Green in the second semifinals match in the tournament that night.
After a hard-fought match, Chelsea Green was able to beat Bayley to advance to the finals of the WWE Women’s United States Title tournament. This sets up a very interesting final match between two former TNA Wrestling stars who are now fighting on top of WWE.
Already in the tournament, Bayley won the first triple threat match on SmackDown on November 15, defeating Candice LeRae and B-Fab. Chelsea Green advanced by defeating Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in another triple threat match. Michin also secured a win, beating Lash Legend and Piper Niven.
The final match is scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, 2024. Now we know it will be Michin vs Chelsea Green. We will have full coverage of the entire show here at Ringside News.
The WWE Women’s United States Title was introduced during the November 8 episode of SmackDown. It was later announced that the RAW Women’s Division will also get its own Intercontinental Title.
