WWE is always working to expand globally, and they have launched a new program called WWE ID (WWE Independent Development™). As part of this effort, the company will be hosting a special gathering for NIL and WWE ID talent today.

According to PWInsider, WWE is hosting a group of NIL and NXT developmental talent as part of the WWE ID program today at their World Headquarters in Stamford, CT. The group includes notable names like Jacob Henry, son of Mark Henry, and Tank Ledger.

Jacob Henry signed a deal with WWE earlier this year, so it was simply a matter of time before he started working towards his dream of becoming a bonafide WWE Superstar and fans are looking forward to seeing how much he will develop under WWE’s guidance.

The WWE ID program aims to find and develop top talent from the independent wrestling scene. It provides high-quality training, mentorship, and growth opportunities. WWE partners with leading wrestling schools such as Reality of Wrestling, the Nightmare Factory, Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center, and KnokX Pro Academy to support this initiative.

As for the WWE ID program itself, quite a few names have already been announced as part of the program and this meeting will likely help out talent understand their role, especially if they end up signing a deal with the company in the end. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether this special gathering at WWE Headquarters will prove to be beneficial in the end.
