Rey Fenix has left fans scratching their heads after abruptly deleting a series of tweets that seemingly called out AEW for “inhumane treatment” and a lack of support for his medical needs. The now-deleted posts hinted at deep frustrations with the company, leaving fans wondering what’s really happening behind the scenes.

The deleted tweets surfaced just days after Chris Featherstone reported on alleged turmoil involving Fenix and AEW. While Fenix initially backed Featherstone’s report, calling it “so far the most accurate comment,” his tweets suggested a much darker picture. One post alleged that AEW failed to provide adequate medical attention, presumably for an injury Fenix has been dealing with.

Adding fuel to the fire, Fenix’s brother and tag team partner, Penta El Zero Miedo, has officially exited AEW after his contract expired. Reports indicate that both Lucha Brothers could be headed to WWE once Fenix is free from his AEW obligations. However, with significant time still left on Fenix’s contract, a move to WWE isn’t expected anytime soon.

For now, Fenix is keeping a low profile, but fans can catch him at a signing event for House of Glory in Queens, NY, on December 20. The deleted tweets, however, have left the wrestling world buzzing with speculation about the extent of Fenix’s issues in AEW and whether the Lucha Brothers’ time with the company is truly coming to an end.
