The December 10th edition of WWE NXT presented the fallout of their latest Premium Live Event, NXT Deadline, that took place last Saturday. The night was a sight of a surprise return, highly spectacular in-ring matches and captivating segments. As the show approached the main event match, the line-up for next week’s show was announced promising to be a must-watch edition.

NXT Champion Trick Williams was confronted by the Iron Survivor Challenger winner, Oba Femi. However, their tense showdown was interrupted by Eddy Thorpe, who was taken out of the NXT Deadline match one week prior. He accuses Oba Femi, who dismissed the allegations and left the ring to let both NXT stars deal with each other. Thorpe much like many people in the locker room called Trick Williams not worthy of being the top champion. Looking to silence Eddy Thorpe and all of his doubters, Williams agreed to defend his NXT title against Eddy Thorpe next week.

In the women’s division, Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson will step into the ring against the unlikely duo of Zaria and Sol Ruca in tag team action.

On the other hand, the NXT tag team division will see the tag team titles on the line. The defending champions, Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend their NXT tag team championships against Gallus members Wolfgang and Mark Coffey.

However, the night does not end for Axiom there. Much like his tag team partner, Nathan Frazer, who competed in two matches at NXT Deadline, Axiom will do the same, taking on Oba Femi in singles action on the same night.
