Logan Paul has taken on some notable opponents in the boxing ring, even though he’s focused on WWE’s squared circle in recent memory. He’s not finished lacing up his gloves, and now he has agreed to a fight with Tyson Fury’s father, John Fury.
Tommy Fury and Jake Paul’s social media exchanges brought a lot of attention. Now, as a potential fight seems even more possible, they have pulled John Fury into the mix. Fury has now called out Logan Paul for a potential fight, and it seems like a serious challenge.
John Fury is no slouch in the ring. He was once a Central Area heavyweight title contender, so he could still pack a punch. That being said, at 59-years-old, the outcome of the fight may be very interesting. In a video message on Instagram, John Fury made his bold and very confident challenge.
“This is a message to Logan Paul. You keep saying Tommy doesn’t want to fight your brother. He does. And I’ll fight you on the undercard—ASAP. I’m tired of hearing, ‘I won’t do this’ or ‘I won’t do that.’ I’ll show you what I’ll do.
“Tommy will fight Jake by January or February, and I’ll fight you. You’re younger and heavier, but I’ll let my punches go. Critics can say what they like, but I’ll prove them wrong. Let me know if you’re interested.”
Logan Paul replied in the comments to say, “Start training.” It seems that this fight may be on. The only matter may be a formality of getting the contracts in line.
WWE may not see Logan Paul’s return to the ring for a while. He hinted at getting a two-year paternity leave from WWE. That may not keep him out of the boxing ring, as another big money fight could be on the horizon for The Maverick.
