Ethan Page’s struggle to reclaim his former glory reached a breaking point on the December 10 episode of NXT, leaving fans wondering what’s next for the wrestler known as “All Ego.”

Page, still reeling from his failure to win the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, faced an opportunity against NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo. In an emotional pre-match moment, Page admitted the gravity of the situation, saying, “If I don’t win tonight, my career is pretty much over.”

Despite his determination, Page fell short once again, with D’Angelo pinning him to retain the title. After the match, a visibly dejected Page was shown backstage, grappling with his emotions. “I’m better than this. I have been better than this, but I’ve lost my way,” he said. Stripping himself of the “All Ego” persona, Page confessed, “I don’t even think I am anymore. I don’t know how to get back to the title. I’m lost. I’m ashamed.”

As he walked away, the usually confident Page left fans with more questions than answers about his future.
