Cody Rhodes has proven his worth as a fighting champion, adopting what he calls ‘The John Cena’ in his prime schedule. The current Undisputed Champion has wrestled the most matches in 2024 in WWE and is aiming to surpass his own record.
As noted by a fan on X, Cody Rhodes is currently leading the charts for most matches wrestled in 2024 at 95. Other superstars inching close to his record include Jey Uso, Damian Priest and LA Knight; however, Rhodes has other plans to go ahead of his peers and even his current mark.
The American Nightmare noticed the records on social media and responded via his X, stating, “🤯 Gotta’ get to 100!” At the start of the month, Cody Rhodes released a calendar of his remaining dates to wrestle before the end of 2024. According to that, Rhodes would be able to hit the 100-match mark at an upcoming WWE Live Event taking place in Orlando, Florida, on Dec 28.
Apart from his personal record-setting aspirations, Cody Rhodes is set to headline WWE’s upcoming special event, Saturday Night’s Main Event. He will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against his heated rival, Kevin Owens, who has been channeling his mean streak and aggression ever since turning on Rhodes at the end of WWE Bad Blood PLE.
With Cody Rhodes set to clinch another record for his illustrious resume, we will have to wait and see if he will be able to do it as the Undisputed WWE Champion and put down Kevin Owens at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
