WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has accomplished a lot in the business and he has transcended pro wrestling to become a pop culture icon, especially thanks to his other gimmicks such as Cactus Jack. Interestingly enough, Foley has now addressed Travis Scott using the name Cactus Jack as well.
While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Mick Foley was asked about his feelings when it came to Travis Scott using the name Cactus Jack, since that is currently the popular rapper’s brand for a lot of things.
The Hardcore Legend mentioned that as far as he’s concerned, when people Google Cactus Jack, Travis Scott’s name will come up first, and his own name will follow right behind it. Foley doesn’t mind this at all, even though some other wrestlers might.
Foley stated that when he sees the Mandible Claw being used on TV, he doesn’t mind, and he’s happy that Travis Scott is bringing more attention to the name Cactus Jack, as it eventually benefits him as well and that he sees it as a big compliment.
“Hey look, anything that keeps, as far as I’m concerned, you know, someone wants to Google Cactus Jack and Travis’s name is going to come up first, so mine’s going to be right behind that. I don’t mind. I know a lot of people do, but I don’t mind. Like, when I see the Mandible Claw being used on TV, whereas other wrestlers do mind, I don’t mind if Travis Scott wants to bring a little more love to the name Cactus Jack because it trickles down to me eventually. True, it’s definitely a big compliment.”
Travis Scott will also make an appearance during the first episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix on January 6, 2025 in Los Angeles. Nevertheless, Mick Foley has made it clear he is appreciative of Travis Scott using the Cactus Jack name, and that’s all that matters to him in the end.
