WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam didn’t hold back during his interview on The Dirty Secrets Podcast with Kate Shelor, sharing a hilarious and unexpected story involving adult film star Ron Jeremy. The wrestling legend detailed how his early days in the business introduced him to some colorful experiences, including a memorable trip to a nudist resort in Indiana.

RVD explained how his wrestling mentor took him to the Ponderosa Sun Club, home of the annual Miss Nude Poppin’ contest, a gathering of strippers from across the country. “It’s a big nude contest,” RVD said, describing the surreal scene at the event. “It’s in the pool area, and outside the fence is where all the crowd is—full of photographers, cameras, and stuff. Man, I was so young there.”

It was at this event that RVD had his first encounter with Ron Jeremy. “That was the first time I saw Ron Jeremy,” he said, adding that their paths continued to cross over the years. “I’ve seen that [guy] so many times throughout the last 30 years, running in the same circles.”

Despite their frequent encounters, RVD shared that Jeremy never seemed to recognize him. “Maybe the third or fourth time, I think it was at a wrestling show or something, I passed him and said, ‘Hey,’” RVD recalled. “But I could tell he didn’t know who I was. I was like, ‘Okay, never mind—I’m never going to talk to you again.’”
