Ex-WWE Star Trevor Lee Insists He Played Key Role in IShowSpeed’s WrestleMania 40 Spot

Trevor Lee was released by WWE earlier this year but he did become part of some memorable moments in NXT and even helped train other talent. Interestingly enough, Lee has now revealed that he taught IShowSpeed how to take an RKO before his epic spot at WrestleMania 40.

The former WWE Superstar took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself alongside IShowSpeed in front of a WWE ring, where he revealed that he was responsible for teaching the popular streamer how to take an RKO, saying, “That time I taught the Streamer of the year how to take a RKO.”

At WrestleMania 40 earlier this year, IShowSpeed made a surprise appearance dressed as a bottle of PRIME Energy. He played a key role in helping Logan Paul during his United States title defense against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. However, Speed’s interference ended up backfiring, and he was ultimately hit with an RKO from Randy Orton on the announcer’s table.

Logan Paul pitched for IShowSpeed’s appearance at the Showcase of the Immortals and it was not an easy task for him. Now it remains to be seen whether IShowSpeed will make another appearance on WWE television in the future, as fans would love to see that happen.

As for Trevor Lee, he is tearing it up in the independent circuit and remains open to returning to WWE one day. Therefore, fans are waiting to see if he will ever come back to WWE, as his in-ring knowledge can certainly come in handy for future celebrity appearances.
