Curtis Axel worked under Vince McMahon for his entire run in WWE and his career never reached the heights fans would have liked. While Axel has nothing to do with McMahon anymore after his 2020 release, Axel has now revealed his true feelings about McMahon’s allegations.
While speaking on Monte and The Pharaoh, Curtis Axel was asked about Vince McMahon’s current legal issues, as he is dealing with a sexual trafficking lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant and also a new lawsuit concerning the Ring Boy scandal.
The former WWE star stated that he has no interest or concern regarding Vince McMahon’s current legal situation. He admitted that he is still very upset about being one of the 50 wrestlers let go during mass layoffs during the pandemic. However, Axel made it clear that he doesn’t follow McMahon’s situation, has no opinion on it, and doesn’t care what McMahon chooses to do.
“My feelings on it? I’ve got f*** all with this kind of stuff, like, all those 50 wrestlers got laid off, you know? And I was one of them, right? So, yeah, that pisses me off. But honestly, I don’t know what’s going on with him, and I don’t care. I really don’t have two s**** to give. I have no clue; I don’t pay attention to it. He can go do whatever he wants to do.”
Curtis Axel also revealed that his 2022 stint in WWE ended abruptly as it coincided with Vince McMahon’s hush money scandal, among other things. Regardless, Axel clearly has no regard for McMahon whatsoever, and perhaps that’s for the best.
