Tony Khan has his irons in many fires as he operates a soccer team, football team, and two pro wrestling companies. The very busy son of a billionaire is also apparently working behind the scenes to bring even more exposure to his secondary pro wrestling venture.

AEW recently signed a media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. This agreement will bring AEW shows to Max and transition its pay-per-views to the platform. That brought up a lot of questions about what Tony Khan is doing for his other pro wrestling company.

Tony Khan also owns Ring of Honor, which is currently available only through the HonorClub streaming service. He confirmed ongoing discussions about TV deals for ROH during an appearance on the Sports Guys Talk Wrestling podcast.

“It’s a great company. I love ROH, and I think that really, for us, it’s important to look at, there’s a great opportunity to grow Ring of Honor as we grow AEW. AEW just secured this huge media rights deal, and it’s a complimentary thing to have another great wrestling promotion with that history. I do think there’s a lot of interest right now in Ring of Honor. I’ve had great conversations about TV partnerships with ROH, and I think as AEW continues to grow, there’s going to be more great opportunities for ROH in streaming and television.”

Tony Khan had no plan for ROH when he purchased it, but he carried on with the brand. Now, it appears that he may be a bit closer to getting a real television deal for the former Sinclair Broadcasting owned company.

Shad Khan is reportedly worth $11.5 billion dollars, as he’s one of the wealthiest NFL owners out there. That being said, his power could certainly open the doors for Tony Khan in a lot of places. Only time will tell if ROH ends up getting a lot more exposure in the year to come.

The ROH roster is still working hard to supply content to HonorClub, and they are working hard to build toward their next pay-per-view, Final Battle on December 20 in the Hammerstein Ballroom. Ringside News will have full coverage of the event to see if Chris Jericho drops the ROH Title to Matt Cardona.
