The Extreme Channel in the UK is turning heads with its growing pro wrestling lineup, airing events from major promotions like NJPW, NORTH, and the upcoming Burning Heart show on December 7. Now, sources say the channel has ambitious plans to take its wrestling coverage to the next level in 2025.

Corey Brennan of Fightful Select got the scoop straight from sources at The Extreme Channel, who confirmed the channel’s vision to expand its reach and content offerings. “The channel will become available in more regions next year, along with launching its own app,” one source revealed. The move aims to make the platform a go-to destination for wrestling fans worldwide.

The channel, which averages between 6,000 and 7,000 viewers per show, already features standout promotions like Hustle Wrestling and NJPW. But there’s more to come, as the channel is reportedly in talks with other promotions to broaden its roster of events.

When asked about competition with platforms like Triller and PROGRESSOnDemand, sources shut down the idea of rivalry, emphasizing collaboration. “We’re offering an alternative, not competing. The goal is to bridge the gap in British Wrestling and bring fans together,” they explained.
