WWE fans are in for a treat as Cody Rhodes is confirmed to open tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. WWE took to Twitter earlier today, dropping footage of Nick Aldis hyping up the event and revealing Rhodes’ must-see segment to kick off the night.

With the fallout from Survivor Series: WarGames still fresh, Rhodes is expected to set the tone for an action-packed evening. Whether he addresses the chaos from the WarGames match or shifts focus to his next challenge, fans are eager to see what the American Nightmare has in store.

Adding even more excitement to the night, The Motor City Machine Guns will defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits. Known for their precision teamwork and high-impact style, The Motor City Machine Guns will have their hands full with the charismatic and athletic Street Profits. With the gold on the line, both teams are sure to leave it all in the ring.

Tonight’s SmackDown also features the continuation of the WWE Women’s United States Title Tournament. Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, and Elektra Lopez will battle in a triple-threat match to determine the final semi-finalist. Bayley, Michin, and Chelsea Green have already secured their spots, and the tournament winner will make history when crowned at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
