Naomi Blames “Broken Toe” for 12/6 WWE SmackDown Tournament Loss

The December 6, 2024, edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown brought plenty of drama, including an action-packed triple-threat match in the Women’s U.S. Title Tournament. Minnesota’s own Tiffany Stratton emerged victorious over Naomi and Elektra Lopez, but Naomi’s post-match comments have fans scratching their heads.

Taking to Twitter after her loss, Naomi shared a surprising reason for her defeat: an injured toe. “My man toe is broke and I’ve lost another title opportunity ugh ya girl is down bad! #SmackDown,” Naomi wrote, sparking debate over whether she’s joking or genuinely attributing her loss to the injury.

Tiffany Stratton’s win means she joins Bayley, Chelsea Green, and Michin in the semifinals of the tournament, set to air on SmackDown next week. The finals will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, where the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion will be crowned.
