WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash is known for making comments that don’t always sit well with everyone, and some of his past remarks caused tension between him and LA Knight. Nash has now clarified his comments and denied trying to harm Knight’s career.

While speaking during a 2023 episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash minced no words when it came to LA Knight as he proceeded to blast LA Knight for being a ripoff of The Rock and added that there was nothing original about Knight.

“Am I the only one that sees like an absolute rip-off of The Rock to the point when he cut the promo on f*cking Logan Paul or whatever the f*ck his name is. The only thing he didn’t do is turn the motherf*cker sideways. Jesus Christ, does everybody have amnesia? There’s nothing original.”

During a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash talked about meeting LA Knight at SummerSlam and made it clear there is no bad blood between them, despite their past comments about each other. Kevin Nash stated that he spoke to Knight backstage and asked if he was going to go over Logan Paul at the event.

Nash revealed that Knight gave a vague answer, and they had a short conversation about his experience working with Logan Paul. Nash further noted that there was no heat with LA Knight whatsoever.

“So LA Knight was sitting at the end of the table. I sat down at the table behind him, he turned around and I just said, ‘So, you finally getting to go over tonight?’ He goes, ‘Something like that.’ We talked and I asked, he was working with Logan Paul, I just asked how it was to work with Paul. Is he a natural, is he paint by numbers? He just gave me his opinion on how he handled the situation, not for me to explain on this show because I don’t want Logan Paul and his relationship to be verified or injured by comments that I make that I might have construed differently than it was meant to be said to me. He seemed like a really nice guy, there was no heat between us.”

When asked if there was any reference made to his previous comments about LA Knight, Nash stated that it was never mentioned. Nash went on to clarify that he never intended to hurt Knight’s career with his remarks.

Nash explained that his intention was never to take opportunities away from anyone in the business. He added that he would rather be the one being talked about than not mentioned at all, and he stated that his focus was on helping the company succeed, not upsetting anyone.

“No. No, at that point, nobody is f****** trying to hurt anybody in this business. I wasn’t trying to take food off his table. Other people have mocked my words to him in promos on their television. I’d rather be the guy being talked about than the guy not being talked about, that’s just the way I look at it. If I’m talking about you, cause I can talk about anybody I want in wrestling. There’s a bunch of dead guys I can talk s*** about that could never rebuttal any of that. But, to me, this new breed of guys, I’m not trying to p*** anyone off. I want the company to excel.”

LA Knight had previously accused Kevin Nash of trying to take food off his table with his remarks, which made fans wonder if they would ever bury the hatchet. Thankfully, Knight and Nash are on better terms now and there is no beef between them, which is all that matters at the moment.
