Eric Bischoff’s presence at MLW One Shot left a lasting impression, and it looks like fans haven’t seen the last of the wrestling icon in Major League Wrestling. According to Fightful Select, MLW is planning to bring Bischoff back for more appearances after his stellar performance as the man in charge of the recent show.

“We’re told that MLW is planning to use Eric Bischoff more after the One Shot show on Thursday. They were very happy with him,” the report revealed. “He arrived early in the morning and worked a full day of production.”

Bischoff made waves at One Shot with a headline-grabbing segment in which he “fired” Alex Kane after Kane’s hard-hitting match against Bobby Fish. In true Bischoff fashion, he didn’t hold back, saying, “I wasn’t going to really feel in charge until I got the opportunity to fire someone. That’s when you really know you have this thing by the balls.”

While Kane’s dramatic “firing” caused a stir, Fightful Select confirmed it was all part of the storyline. Alex Kane isn’t going anywhere, but the segment added an unpredictable edge to MLW’s programming.
