WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event is heading to Uniondale, New York, on December 14, 2024, and the card is already shaping up to be a must-see event. Set to take place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the special will feature four officially announced matches, with a fifth on the way.
The main event is expected to see Cody Rhodes defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens in a showdown that promises to be one of the night’s highlights. Additionally, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is set to put his title on the line against Finn Balor, while Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will defend against IYO SKY.
As if that wasn’t enough, the tournament final for the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Championship is also locked in for the show, adding a historic moment to the night.
WrestleVotes Radio dropped an exciting tease about a fifth match being added to the card. “Speaking of Saturday Night’s Main Event, we are hearing as of now to expect five advertised matches for the upcoming show. We are at four. We expect another one to be announced sometime this week, with Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens as the headliner,” they revealed.
NBC is also pulling out all the stops to promote the event, ensuring it gets maximum exposure. “NBC is expected to heavily push this show throughout their programming, including on Sunday Night Football, as we head towards December 14,” WrestleVotes added.
With two world title matches, two women’s title matches, and a fifth match still under wraps, WWE looks ready to deliver a stacked show. Fans are eager to see what surprises WWE has in store as the event draws closer.
