Trevor Lee was released from WWE earlier this year but he has been on a roll in the independent circuit, winning titles and building momentum. He is known to make some bizarre remarks from time to time and recently targeted The Rock over his fashion choice and he has now doubled down on the same.
While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Trevor Lee was asked to comment on his tweet where he claimed that he was happy to see The Rock “Take an L” after The Rock was named GQ Magazine’s Man of the Year.
Trevor Lee stood by his comments about The Rock, stating that it was trolling, saying that’s what Twitter is all about. However, he didn’t like The Rock’s outfit, stating that The Great One looked like a Fortnite character.
Lee added that if that was the first “L” The Rock had ever taken, it would show how much he admired everything else The Rock has done. Even though he doesn’t know much about fashion, Lee admitted that The Rock did pull it off.
“That’s just trolling, right? That’s all Twitter is, that’s trolling. But come on, that outfit? He looked like a Fortnite character and see when you really break it down, if that’s man’s first L that he’s ever taken, then that means I have appreciated everything else he has ever done. I just did not appreciate that jacket that he wore, come on man. But I don’t know anything, you hear me, I don’t know fashion. To be honest, he rocked it.”
It is highly unlikely The Rock will ever respond to what Trevor Lee had to say. In the meantime, Lee did admit he is open to returning to WWE one day, so we’ll have to see if that will ever happen in the future.
