Roman Reigns is already thinking about what life might look like when he eventually steps away from the squared circle. While many wrestlers turn to podcasting or commentary to share behind-the-scenes stories, Reigns isn’t ruling out the possibility—but he’s not committing to it, either.

Appearing on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, Reigns teased fans with the idea of him and his legendary manager Paul Heyman breaking down the wrestling business for a live audience or a podcast. “People would probably pay a lot of money just to hear me and Paul talk about wrestling or watch it live and give our take,” Reigns said. “Just watching as fans.”

The Tribal Chief also acknowledged the appeal of a gig that doesn’t involve grueling matches or late-night flights. “If you can sit on your phone and make a bunch of money just watching something, why not do it?” he mused. Comparing himself to NFL icons Eli and Peyton Manning—who have redefined sports commentary with their ManningCast—Reigns hinted at how he could redefine the wrestling commentary game alongside Heyman.

Still, Reigns couldn’t resist painting a laid-back picture of his post-wrestling life. “If it does come down to it and you’re like, ‘Where did Roman go?’ Just assume he’s catching a fish right now and is on a boat,” he joked.

Reigns’ dominance in the wrestling world has left fans wondering what’s next for the Head of the Table, but his laid-back attitude suggests he’s keeping his options open.
