Big things are reportedly in store for WWE’s Finn Balor as he prepares for a significant singles push heading into the new year. The Irish star, who has been a central figure in Monday Night Raw storylines as part of the Judgment Day faction, is expected to be booked strongly in the coming months.
Ahead of his clash for the World Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, backstage reports suggest that Balor’s stock within WWE has never been higher. WrestleVotes took to Twitter to reveal that Balor has cemented himself as a leader in the WWE locker room, earning the respect of both his peers and management.
“As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Finn Balor in WWE, sources tell us he’s solidified himself as a true locker room leader over the past year or so,” WrestleVotes tweeted. “In addition, we are told to expect a sustained singles push for Finn as we head into 2025.”
Currently one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions alongside JD McDonagh, Balor is no stranger to championship gold. However, his singles accolades have been limited since his historic victory at SummerSlam 2016, where he became the inaugural Universal Champion by defeating Seth Rollins. Unfortunately, an injury forced Balor to relinquish the title just one day later, cutting his reign tragically short.
Now, as WWE heads into a new chapter, it seems Balor is poised to take center stage once again. With his decade-long anniversary with the company on the horizon, fans are eager to see what this renewed push will mean for his future.
