Bobby Lashley Defends Vince McMahon Despite Ongoing Legal Issues

Bobby Lashley departed WWE earlier this year but he spent several years working under Vince McMahon, especially during his second stint in the company. While McMahon remains surrounded by controversy, it appears Lashley has decided to defend him by pointing out the good that McMahon has done.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Bobby Lashley defended Vince McMahon amid his ongoing legal issues and controversies. Lashley recognized the tough times McMahon is facing but pointed out the positive impact he has had on many people.

Lashley mentioned that McMahon’s business has helped thousands of people by feeding them, putting kids through college, and even helping people buy homes. Lashley believes that, despite the bad situations McMahon is in, his work has given many people opportunities they might not have had otherwise.

“I know what this business has done for me and my family. Like yeah Vince is going through a whole bunch right now, we understand that, but Vince McMahon has personally fed thousands and thousands of people and people don’t understand that. When you have a business like he created, there are so many people there are right now, the amount of mouths he has fed and kids that he put through college and houses that he’s helped buy. Like, there’s so much that people don’t understand that, yes there are a lot of bad things going on with him right now. But because of that business, we have, so many people are able to do things they probably never had an opportunity to do.”

Vince McMahon is currently dealing with a sexual trafficking lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant and also a new lawsuit concerning the Ring Boy scandal. Despite all of his controversies, Bobby Lashley chooses to see the good in Vince McMahon and all that he has done for the business and many fans may or may not agree with his point of view.
